About SLIIT
Established in 1999, the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) is a state-approved private university with its main campus in Malabe and metropolitan campus in Colombo, along with regional centres in Kandy, Kurunegala, Matara, and Jaffna. It's recognised by the University Grants Commission and is a member of both the Association of Commonwealth Universities and International Association of Universities. Its computing degrees are also accredited by the Institution of Engineering & Technology (UK), and its engineering programmes by IESL. Official SLIIT Website

Academic Faculties & Programmes
SLIIT comprises several faculties:

  • Faculty of Computing: Offers BSc (Hons) degrees in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Cyber Security, Data Science, Interactive Media, Information Systems, and Network Engineering.
  • Faculty of Engineering: Provides BEng/BSc (Hons) programmes in Civil, Mechanical (with Mechatronics), Electrical & Electronic, Materials Engineering, and Quantity Surveying—with UK dual-award pathways via University of Queensland.
  • Business School: Delivers BBA (Hons) degrees in Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Human Capital Management, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Quality, MIS, Business Management, and Fashion Business, along with MBA and Masters programmes.
