SLIIT City University, operated by SLIIT as a metropolitan branch, delivers foundation and undergraduate degree programmes with a practical, industry-focused approach. It is based in centrally located city campus buildings at Merchant Tower and another site on Anagarika Dharmapala Mawatha in Colombo 3.
• Foundation Certificates (1 year): Information Technology, Business Management, Health & Life Sciences, Engineering.
• Undergraduate Degrees (3 years): BSc (Hons) in Computer Science & Software Engineering; BSc in Computer Networking (University of Bedfordshire); BEng (Hons) in Electronic & Electrical Engineering.
These programmes are offered in collaboration with international partners such as Bedfordshire and Curtin University, enabling globally recognised degrees within Sri Lanka.
Located on the 13th floor of Merchant Tower and nearby premises, the campus offers well-equipped classrooms, computer labs, library and café spaces. Though smaller than the Malabe campus, it provides convenience for Colombo-based students and houses support services like career guidance, research opportunities, and extracurricular events.
Faculty-led instruction guides students through structured lab work, assignments, and exams. All students gain access to a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) for course materials, announcements, and academic tracking.
