Founded in 1906, St John Ambulance Sri Lanka is a volunteer-run NGO under the motto Pro Utilitate Hominum (“For the Service of Mankind”). Governed by the St John Ambulance Association & Brigade, it serves public health, first aid, and ambulance needs across the country from its national headquarters at Sir Chittampalam A.
