Viharamahadevi Park (formerly Victoria Park)
Located adjacent to the Colombo National Museum and Town Hall, Viharamahadevi Park is the city's largest and oldest public park. Donated by philanthropist Charles Henry de Soysa during British rule, it opened in 1951 following a period as a WWII military site. In 1958, it was renamed in honor of Queen Viharamahadevi, mother of King Dutugemunu. Visitor Reviews on Tripadvisor
