Royal College Colombo, originally Colombo Academy (founded 1835 by Rev. Joseph Marsh), became “Royal” in 1881 by Queen Victoria’s decree. It is Sri Lanka’s oldest and most prestigious public boys’ school, offering education free of charge since 1931. Official Website
